- Computer equipment is very profitable for thieves
and your equipment, regardless of age or function,
is a constant target. They may not care about your
data, but they also don't bother to leave a copy behind.
Fire/Flood/Earthquake
- Data may be an intangible asset. But it burns just
as good as anything else. Electronic data is very
sensitive to temperature, moisture, and shock.
Virus
- Not your common flu bug, computer viruses can wreak
havoc on your data. There are dozens of new varieties
emerging every day.
Hackers
- Some are mischievous kids making you a victim of
a random attack... and that's if you're lucky. Some
